This is how a movie is made.

A friend of mine shared this video on Facebook the other day.

Apparently, the scenes I thought I saw in a movie or in a TV series were not real. I am amazed to see that even the scenes that are not too dramatic as explosions or crashes are also not real, for instance, the scene of Monk and Stottlemeyer walking down the street.

How can I trust my eyes again?

This video reminds me of what I read about René Descartes years ago in part of his book regarding sceptical doubts, where he wrote,

“I suppose therefore that all things I see are illusions; I believe that nothing has ever existed of everything my lying memory tells me. I think I have no senses. I believe that body, shape, extension, motion, location are functions. What is there then that can be taken as true? Perhaps only this one thing, that nothing at all is certain.” (René Descartes, Meditations of First Philosophy)
